I didn’t spend too much time thinking about the splash screen art in the game, until now. Riot released a time-lapse video that shows the creation of the Swain splash, definitely one of the cooler splash screens in the game, and it’s pretty awesome.

The video takes more than nine hours of work and compresses it down to just six minutes. It’s a great way to see the kind of care that goes into this kind of thing, and it’s a good resource for anyone looking to get into video game art creation.

Riot gave us yet another Gentleman Cho’Gath teaser in the form of an interview with the offender from the Riot Cafe Caper. It’s a pretty funny interview, if only because it makes use of so many of the Cho’Gath memes from the forums. Yes, the words ‘nom nom nom’ are actually spoken on microphone.

While I love the funny skins, like Urf, I probably won’t be getting the Gentleman. It’s a rare day that I feel like playing Cho, and even rarer to enjoy him. Unless you can get ahead he feels boring and underwhelming without much recourse. Any of you guys serious Cho’Gath players?
