      We are on for tonight, folks. If you’re looking for some games this evening, I’ll be online at 9:30 PM ready to play with any and all takers. If we get enough people we can run some custom games. It’s been a few weeks, so we’ve got plenty to catch up on. I’m looking forward to seeing your Nocturne/Lee Sin skills.

      Urfrider Corki is on the way

      Buried among the April 1st madness, Riot hid Urfrider Corki, the latest skin in the League. I won’t lie, I’ll be a little sad if this is Corki’s second legendary skin. As an owner of Red Baron Corki, I would hate to see Urfrider usurp one of the original legendary skins.

      Still, I have loved Corki since I first played him, and the chance to play him riding a manatee is awfully tempting.

      Lee Sin is real, patch notes are funny fakes

      I’m sure quite a few of us breathed a sigh of relief when we actually loaded a game with Lee Sin and played him for the first time. Up to the last second I was a little worried that he might be whisked away. He’s real though, and a damn good time at that.

      Alongside the Lee Sin release, Riot published some new patch notes that, though they are obviously fake, they are also damn funny. I’ll leave you to browse through the list and just give a few of my favorites.

      -Amumu is now happy
      -Gangplank now fights from his boat
      -Sona now requires skill to play
      -Zilean can now travel back in time creating new realities and tangent universes in the process

      Apparently the April Fool’s patch includes champion changes

      So…the April Fool’s patch seems to be a way for Riot to buy some extra time on a sizeable content patch. I thought the patch would just be a Lee Sin release, but it seems there’s much more coming tomorrow.

      From Tamat:

      At 11:30 p.m. PST on Thursday, March 31st, we will be bringing all game servers offline for the highly anticipated April 1st update! During this time, you’ll still be able to visit our website and forums. Downtime should take no longer than four hours making our current ETA for service restoration at 4:00 a.m. PST, on Friday, April 1st. Comprehensive patch notes are coming soon, featuring sweeping changes to many Champions of the League. Get ready to celebrate Urf Day and see what — or who — is coming to League of Legends!

      I definitely didn’t expect this. I just figured Tuesday was light on content, we’d get Lee Sin tomorrow and then have a sizable patch next week. It seems that content is actually coming in tomorrow. Could it possibly include the Alistar remake?
