This patch was supposed to address some of the issues with Tanky DPS characters. There were health nerfs and shield nerfs, but from my perspective the game doesn’t seem much different. Tanky teams are still able to drag out what appear to be landslide wins.
Does tanky DPS still need a nerf? Sound off in the comments.

I think the problem is with the items; there are a lot of defensive items and most of them increase effective health pool quadratically, while damage increases geometrically. Heart of gold increases health and armor, which multiplies armor and health, while most AP/AD item are added linearly.
The problem with the old last whisper is that it improve damage quadratically; I’m not sure if it’s the toons themselves, but a game like this is hard to balance
Each person has their own flavor and playstyle they like. People who play stealth classes tend to play stealth classes in ALL games they play, be it Dungeons and Dragons, WoW, or LoL. It sucks that the playstyle I identify with the most (bruiser types, high hp medium damage) is the new flavor of the month to hate on. The nerfed a lot of the AoE chars into the ground (Galio/Fiddle), and it looks like the chars I like are gonna be getting hit for the next few months.
I wish Riot would explain the big picture of where they want the game to be, instead of just releasing a patch video and saying “we think tanks are too powerful atm”.

I agree that everyone has a playstyle, but that’s not always relevant to ‘likelihood of winning.’
DPS tanks have been FotM for almost half a year now, the flavor’s getting kinda stale, imo. Playing against teams that could win every team fight by just pressing R at the same time got old, and playing against DPS that’s also a tank, that brushes off CC and slows you, also gets old
My thoughts Tank and bruisers need to be touched up if it is a tank lower all damage (ie. Rammus his power ball should be reduced to 100damage at max lvl)his taunt shorten it or make the cd longer plus rwework on the armor pen too. Malaphite just lower damage and the his armor on his passive doesn’t take full amount of his normal armor. i had a hard time get through his armor just from him have 300armor.theres tons more but this “fix” will never be done if people play the game buy the RP Skins etc. they make money off of tought champs and the broken ranged ones
