Riot had precious little to say regarding Skarner, but I can already tell that I like the guy. I was a huge fan of Crixalis (Sand King) in DotA, so obviously Skarner appeals to me. The only thing Riot mentioned about Skarner’s skillset is that he might be able to impale an opponent on his tale and drag them around. Sounds like a pretty cool skill. Depending on the range it might even be a sort of Rocket Grab.

With Skarner, Leona, and Yorick all coming soon, I can’t help but wonder when we’ll see the Monkey King. It’s been nearly two months since his assets were released in a preview video but we still have no word on his release date or his skillset.
