Sometimes you have to stick with what works
I got to play quite a few games with Antiquus and some other readers here yesterday, but maybe the funniest game was one in which our opponent’s Ashe was building tank. Now granted, she had the best score on the team, and she even had a positive K/D ratio, but I can promise you, it wasn’t working.
I just said yesterday that sometimes you need to switch up your paradigm, but there are toons for which that doesn’t really work. Ashe is one of them.

I can’t make anything out in the screen shot (yeah, I guess my eyes are that bad) – which one was Ashe and what was her build? Or maybe just make the image a link to a larger version?
Oops – had to change the image because I had accidentally left some names in when I first posted it (and that’s not so cool to the other players). Got the link now. She had a Leviathan, Atmas, etc.
Well, as a frequent ashe player the dmg of ur normal shots is higher if you building around atmas impaler. The crappy part is that the volley dmg doesnt go up andere thats too much to give up.
Well theres a world of difference between Ashe and Udyr.
Udyr has some tanky abilities whereas ashe has none.
Ashe was just being an ass, like that sunfire yi I played with…

I’ve actually heard some interesting things about AP Warwick. Not something I would try in ranked, but it would at least be interesting.
After bloodrazor I think AP is fine. Like Garen, damage from ult more % based nuke than flat damage. Seen a lot of people go with insight runes since most of his damage, including razor is magic. What’s the craziest viable runes people have seen?
While AP WW may work you’ll lose some effectiveness. But going for Bloodrazor and lots of Gunblades is an awesome idea
I dunno. I’ve been looking at some of the builds of top ladder players when they run WW, and I’m not seeing a lot of AD items on them. They tend to maximize his life-steal via visage.
Played against an AP ww last night. Duo’d with a guy I met, we were swain & kat. I saw the loading screen with Clarity/Heal ww and did a double take, then saw Soraka with smite and did a triple. But the WW & Sor were duo q’d together and played quite well.
Thankfully, that game ended losing streak, but it was hard fought.
I assume that was a Ranked game Jeff? If so that was pretty lame of the Ashe to do that to her team, if not, I’d just chalk it up to messing with a new build – have to do it somewhere.
